Chances are you struggle (like I do) with finding good keywords. Actually, it’s not a problem finding them. The problem is though that most are next to useless, or at least seem to be.

I thought the data from Google’s keyword tool was always bang on. Why wouldn’t I? Big company like that shouldn’t be giving false figures. Sadly, that’s not always how it goes.

What you see (the data) is not what you get. But it probably was at the time they put it together. I stumbled across the solution to this particular conundrum.

I was going for a keyword that had roughly five thousand competing pages. Great I thought, I can nail that. I started churning out articles by the bucket load.

Not long after I saw that there were now almost nine thousand competing sites. My heart sank, I thought my task was gonna be twice as hard now. As it happens most of these extra results were my articles on these different sites.

My point being is that I’d have swerved this keyword if I had seen nine thousand competitors. A lot of these sites were ranking with my article so I had a lot of competition but most of it was my own articles. A win win situation if you ask me.

Anyway, I decided to give a keyword research service a try as I couldn’t count on getting lucky every time. Getting a daily list of quality keywords sent is something that appeals to me. I calculated the cost against the time it would take me and it seemed a value for money concept.

There were a few to choose from but I went with Travis Sago and his Instacash service. Let’s face it, Travis is THE bum marketer. Bum marketing is something I really like.

If I can get a keyword or two in my in box each day then that saves me valuable time. At least a two hour saving. When all I have is time then two hours saved can be huge to me. Put that couples hours saved against the daily cost and it adds up to value.

Outsourcing, outsourcing, outsourcing. Seems to be all you hear from the gurus of internet marketing. And what I’m trying here is simply that. Outsourcing my keyword research to someone else.

If you’re interested in how the trial of the Instacash service went then head on over to my web site. I said earlier about how I got loads of articles published for my chosen keyword. I’ll show you how I did that at my site.
